Shipping policy

All orders are shipped using Royal Mail 48 and are charged as standard at £3.99.

 

Shipping Area

We currently ship within the United Kingdom only.

 

Processing Time

Orders are processed and dispatched within 2–4 business days.

Please note:

  • Dispatch may be delayed if the store manager is away.

  • Additional delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances (Royal Mail delays, weather, strikes, etc.).

 

Liability for Parcels

The Sewing Hive is not liable for:

  • Parcels delayed by Royal Mail

  • Parcels lost due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer

  • Parcels stolen after delivery (e.g., taken from a doorstep or safe place)

  • Parcels damaged in transit (unless evidence is provided for a claim)

If a parcel is confirmed lost by Royal Mail, we will follow Royal Mail’s claims procedure.
